Dr. Cline BIO

Hello, I’m Dr. Matt Cline. I grew up in Idaho, working on potato farms and hiking the Rocky Mountains. I got interested in Podiatry as a high school athlete, taping my ankles, toes and always getting new shoes/cleats. I still enjoy running and have run half and full marathons. In my time away from the office I mostly spend time with my wife and 3 kids (1 boy and 2 girls). I have been able to work with excellent doctors and gain from their experience in my training, which has taken me from Los Angeles to New York. As a doctor, I have interests in sports injuries to the foot and ankle, pediatric foot deformities, and flatfoot reconstruction. I have also worked a great deal with diabetics and their feet as they are of particular concern for all podiatrists because of the potential complications that can arise from loss of nerve functions in their feet.

I try to put myself in your situation as a patient. In that light, I educate patients so they can have an active part in their recovery and treatment. We are a team, the doctor is coach and the patient is the one making points. I want the patients to know the plan and why I am asking them to “stay off the foot” and “do this twice a day” so we can have the best outcome possible for you.

Finally, the other players on the team here at Hill Country Foot Specialists are great and know the game well! Jennifer, Tara, Sharisse and Dr. Parker help you and me out to figure out all the rest of the treatment, labs, imaging and insurance questions/logistics. Thanks for reading.
